Solving the Mystery in The Witcher 3

The Witcher 3: Attempting to solve the mystery in Winter White Orchard (Empress Ending), where several peculiar objects show on the map. It appears that the Winter White Orchard was once intended to be an alternative intro to the game, based on choices in the Witcher 2. There's even an unused dialogue with Emhyr related to it.
