Jump with 99 year-old World War II Veteran Jim "Pee Wee" Martin

On October 31st 2020 I had the amazing honor to literally walk in the footsteps of World War II Veteran paratrooper Jim "Pee Wee" Martin to an awaiting military aircraft. With huge thanks to RCPT-USA and Skydive Palatka, I received the training to perform my 6th jump after meeting the standard with Pee Wee's son Roger who was a classmate and is also making the jump with his father. I dedicated my sixth jump or "Cherry Blast" to Joe and Sherry Kittinger who for over a decade have connected me with a long list of amazing people in the aviation community which put eventually brought me to this amazing day. The event was dedicated to the veterans of the Vietnam war so I wore a pair of coveralls with POW patches and an Air Force stripe signed by Joe in 2011 at his birthday party. Joe Kittinger knows a thing or two about flying a parachute safely to the ground so please go along for the ride and eavesdrop in on my conversation with Joe and Sherry from jump to landing.
