Hello everyone.

It has been a long time since my last video upload. My life has changed dramatically in the last four months. I have shifted jobs and that has meant a whole lot of upskilling for me. As some as you know, I am a registered nurse and I have worked for a number of years in a high level care residentual facility. In November last year I decided to apply for a position in an acute ward at a new local private hospital. This is the first time I have worked in an acute setting for many years so I had a steep learning curve to climb to re aquaint myself with old skills and learn new ones. For that reason I withdrew from the colouring community to concentrate on my new position and aquiring the updated knowledge base I needed to work safely and meet the needs of my patients and employer.

I was hoping that by now I would be settled in my new job and be able to resume business as usual on my You Tube channel. Unfortunately due to the global pandemic that is changing life as we know it, this will not be the case. By becoming employed in a acute hospital ward I have unwittingly signed up for battle in the war against Covid 19 and my energies are now focused on further upskilled to be ready for working in an intensive care and respiratory support enviroment. I am currently enrolled in a forty hour course to that effect along side working my regular shifts.

As of today my home city of Geelong has around 60 cases of covid19 and the number is expected to rise dramatically in the coming weeks. Here we have at least a small period of grace to prepare our health care services.

I'm afraid that my uploads will continue to be sporadic. This particular one has been waiting in the wings for some time. I am trying to clear a backlog of partially completed videos and hope to be able to load fresh content in the future but I can't say this will be in any.

Thank you to everyone who have continued to support this channel and have been so very patient with me. There is so much great content out there to keep us all going and there is no better time then now in this period of isolation to break out the colouring supplies and get arty in our beautiful colouring books.

I wish everyone all the best of luck as always but especially now. Stay safe, be mindful of protecting yourself and your families but also all those families that you don't know.
