I'm learning handpan and like the sounds it creates. I'm not quite ready to bring my rudimentary handpan skills into the live improv yet but wanted to capture a few of the sounds, so I tracked down a couple of handpan plugins (one free one reasonably inexpensive) to provide some scaffolding.

I also wanted to see how the AudioModeling SWAM stuff worked with Osmose, so installed the trial of their Saxophones package. I spent about 15 minutes getting a feel for the Osmose/SWAM integration and then did this video. I'm really happy with how realistic it sounds with so little effort.

Did I think tenor sax and handpan belonged together? Nope! Did I like the challenge of seeing if I could make something musical out of that combo in real-time? Absolutely!
