A few minor rules goofs I wanted to point out: - In solo & 2p, you only use 5 dice (2 blue, 2 yellow, 1 red), not all 9. - Seneca's dice selection is slightly different to how you're doing it. Seneca lays out 2 cards (face-down). The first die it picks is based on the left-hand card, with the colour picked with a die-roll (even=top, odd=bottom), then if there are multiple dice of that colour available, he picks the die value equal or higher than the d6 rolled value (wrapping around 6 to 1 if necessary). He then repeats this process for his second die using his second card. These are also the two cards he'll use during the round for his 2 actions. - Seneca couldn't do the first expand; he (& you) can only expand to an already-conquered settlement. So in this case, Seneca would skip the expand and just do the trade. You mention later that you have to expand before conquer, which is the wrong way around, so I think you've got these two actions' restrictions mixed up. - marking off the buildings you built on your buildings track - very important for triggering claiming Nero cards! - The (L) and (H) on Seneca's construct actions mean Low (i.e. lowest building number) and High (highest building number), not "Large" and whatever I thought "H" was. :)
