A new set of seat irons is needed to duplicate the original seat for this 2 seat buggy. Combining blacksmithing with woodworking is common when restoring old horse drawn vehicles. Building and restoring horse drawn vehicles requires studying the original makers and attempting to duplicate their styles, while trying not to add our own interpretations from today.
