Always Chase your Dreams

October 29, 2016, I was unfortunately involved in an aircraft accident when my Pitts S1S loss control due to a mechanical failure. My only option of survival was to parachute from the aircraft into the river. After surviving this crash we were able to find the aircraft allowing the NTSB and FAA to conduct their investigation to only come out empty-handed. I will never really know what happened that day, just that I knew if I didn't jump from the aircraft I was not going to live. After the accident I took some time to figure out my focuses in life; career, family, direction, if I want to risk all this again. After a few months, I felt empty not being able to fly aerobatics. See many of my friends the following year compete and I was not able to left me gutted. With beginning the search for an aircraft again I ran into issues getting insurance due to my accident. Now 3 years later I am finally able to pick up where I was cut short in my journey to be apart of the USA National Aerobatics team.
