New year, new rules! USPSA got rid of 10.5.6, which deals with uprange starts. "USPSA rule 10.5.16 addresses safety precautions when drawing a holstered pistol, specifically when facing uprange, or when drawing at any point during a course of fire. The key is to ensure the pistol's front or holster is not pointing uprange, meaning beyond the 180-degree line, before drawing. This rule aims to prevent accidental discharges that could harm competitors, range officers, or spectators. " USPSA said that AIWB enjoyers were breaking the 180* on their draw due to the nature of where their firearm is holstered. A few people got done dirty last year and DQd for this rule. It has now changed and is ready for AIWB people to get after it.
