◆宿泊先情報◆
宿泊先は、UNESCOの「Biosphere Reserve（生物保護区）」に指定されているバー環礁に位置するAmilla Maldives Resort and Residencesの水上コテージ。その中でも北側を向いているReef Water Pool Villaに宿泊しました。

Reefと名がついている通り、珊瑚が多く、たくさんの魚を目にすることができる水上コテージです。この部屋からは、フォーシーズンズ（Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru）やミレイドホー アイランド モルディブ（Milaidhoo Island Maldives）が遠くに見えます。

水上コテージは他に、サンセットを見ることができるSUNSET WATER POOL VILLA、ラグーンを一望できるLAGOON WATER POOL VILLAがあります。

◆Accommodation information◆
Since the precipitation is the lowest Feb seems the best timing to visit Maldives.
I somehow managed to visit Maldives March 2021 before rainy season starts.

This time I stayed at Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences at Baa Atoll, designated as biosphere reserve by UNESCO in 2011.

Among so many resorts in Maldives the reason I chose this resort is simply their sustainability stance.

I love the nature so I would like to see the nature.

After extensive research I found Amilla Fushi is far less populated with villas than other resorts.
Most parts of the island are kept in tact as Jungle.
There are only 67 villas in the island, far less chance to encounter other visitors.
Even for dining there are as many as 5 restaurants so you will never feel packed with other people in any meal time.

I could say Amilla Fushi Maldives is one of the most secluded resorts in Maldives, great choice especially for nature lovers.

There are three types of water villas: Sunset, Lagoon and Reef.

I stayed at Reef, which you can enjoy the biodiversity of Baa Atoll the most among other villas.

From Reef Villas you can see some other resorts like Milaidhoo Island Maldives and Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.
