WSJT-X and GridTracker resource usage is too high!

Hi dorks 💜 💕 ☺️
So It seems with the last couple of updates I have received on these programs They have ramped up the resource usage. Because my processor and memory was so high I did a virus scan check. It seems they have become excessively power hungry as of recently. So if any of you have any idea how to crank down the volume a little bit, Please leave a comment and let me know. I'm not scared my computer's gonna burn up but I'm just thinking there's no reason to run it that hot ya know...
