Hanshi Bruce Juchnik Interviews Bill "Superfoot" Wallace - Episode 181

On Saturday, April 8th, we were in Manchester, New Hampshire for a Martial Art event - the 2017 Martial Arts Symposium hosted by Sensei Terry Dow. The invitation to record one of the breakout sessions allowed us to record video for the first time.

In this case, Hanshi Bruce Juchnik as he reminisced and interviewed Grandmaster Bill "Superfoot" Wallace. The conversation includes discussion of many of Bill Wallace's opponents and friends, including Skipper Mullins, Chuck Norris, Joe Lewis & a lot more.

Hanshi Bruce Juchnik knows a lot of the details of these stories and the two are able to have a great conversation. If you're a fan of the 60s and 70s martial arts era, this interview is right up your alley. There's a lot of wisdom shared in the interview, and you can tell the two men enjoyed their time. The respect they have for each other was quite apparent.

This interview is our first ever recorded with video, and while there are a lot of things we can do better, we're proud to bring it to you as is. Stick around until the very end for a special audio bonus of GM Bill Wallace teasing Jeremy.

If you're unfamiliar with either guest, Hanshi Bruce Juchnik is well known in the world of Kempo (Kenpo) Karate as having been part of the Mitose lineage to come out of Hawaii. He's a contemporary and friend of Senior Grandmaster Rick Alemany who has also been on the show.

Bill Wallace - better known as Superfoot - is best known for having an incredibly fast left leg and his dominance in the ring through the 1970s. He still actively tours the world teaching seminars on Superfoot Systems, his kickboxing style, and is fan favorite at events such as this one.
