Activity feeds are everywhere these days.
You see them as soon as you wake up, all throughout the day, and probably right before you turn off the lights and go to bed, too.
Whether it's in the social media platforms you use, your Slack channel at work, or the project management dashboard you set up to track you app's development, activity feeds are embedded in your life.
Which is why there's a good chance you need to build one in your app.
Creating an activity feed is a great way to keep your users engaged and updated with what's going on in your app.
Think of this as a time-stamped history of all the important actions a user can take. Users can refer back to their own actions and/or see what other users are doing.
For example, in a project management app, team members can view a project's activity feed to learn things like:
-When a task was assigned to themselves or someone else on the team
-When a task's due date was changed and what it was changed to/from
-When a task was completed and who completed it
This video will show you a breakdown of how to set up this feature.
