DIESEL Best Looks Spring 2024 Milan - Fashion Channel

Diesel went all out for its Spring/Summer 2024 runway show, throwing a free outdoor rave for 7,000 people in Milan, Italy. The show was scheduled for the same night that a rainstorm was forecast, but that didn't dampen the spirits of the crowd or the models.

Creative Director Glenn Martens presented a collection that was both artisanal and industrial, with shredded and devoré denim outfits, distressed and acid-washed garments, and dresses that resembled Oscars statuettes. He also incorporated some schlockily fun elements into the collection, such as parodies of old-school movie posters.

The show was a celebration of togetherness and analogue moments, and it was a brave gamble that paid off handsomely. Despite the rain, the crowd stayed to dance and check out Martens' designs.
