Jeep Camping - 4 days in Death Valley

So back in December 2019, I wanted to plan a trip with SFBAJA (San Francisco Bay Area Jeep Association) and go camping for 4 days and cover as much ground as we could. We drove 7 hours to Trona Pinnacles and camped there for the night. We woke up and headed out at 9am to head to Geologist Cabin, hitting Barkers Ranch along the way, that is where Charles Manson was hiding out back in the day. We couldn't find a big enough space at Geologist so we drove a little bit down the road and camped in the middle of the valley, right by the Striped Buttes. Day 3, we woke up and headed to Rogers Peak and hit Briggs Camp along the way and then immediately hit Chicken Rock, a narrow pass up the hill. Might not look like much put it was narrow and a drop down on the drivers side. We made it to Rogers Pass and then proceeded to get back to Trona to camp since we loved it so much and we just made it.

We had 18 Jeeps, some experienced and some this was their first trip out and it was perfection! Looking forward to the next trip we get to plan and hit the trails. Nothing better than the Jeep community and family!!
