DNP DS620A VS Primera IP60 VS Sinfonia CS2 Printer Comparison Review | Event Printers
A 3 event printer comparison between: DNP DS620A VS Primera IP60 VS Sinfonia CS2 Printers.
Motivated by a wish that there were more comparison videos for event/dye sub printers when I first started out, I decided to put together a quick and easy-to-understand one for anyone looking to get into onsite printing to add as to their studio's services.

2) DS620A - 10.8x14.4x6.7"
3) IP60 - 12.7x15x8.3"
As you can see, each printer has its own advantages so there's never a clear cut winner in this business. Here's what I love about each printer (in no particular order):
1) DS620A - Versatile, excellent print quality for both colour and black & white prints. Reliable workhorse, easy to change media including the ink roll tray, which makes that part easy with less chance of getting dust or fingerprints on internal parts. While heaviest of the three in this review, it is still manageable when using the right equipment bag/case. Solid construction / metal case / sensible indicator lights. With a 400 print capacity per roll, you also don't have to make as many media changes.
2) CS2 - The feel and design appears to be from somebody in the photobooth business or they collected excellent feedback from photobooth owners. Smart use of indicator lights, status monitor software included (see how many prints you have left on screen), respectable 300 prints per roll with coloured spool so you know which side goes where easily. Paper ready light for when you do media changes is handy as it's hard to hear sound indicators during loud events. Based on feedback from other photobooth business owners, this is the most popular printer for physical photobooth rental companies. Great price point with lots of media cases available in the market.
3) IP60 - Thermal Inkjet technology, allows you to change up the paper or the ink cartridge separately. Plastic casing which means overall lighter weight at an impressive 8 lbs! Multiple print size options without changing the media even up to 6x24" for panoramic shots. So many media types available including gloss, matte, luster, magnetic, postcard, and more. Great price point and neck and neck with the CS2 with a low cost per print.
