Child taken to a hospital after shooting near 43rd Ave and Encanto Blvd

Phoenix police say a child was taken to a hospital after being shot Tuesday afternoon during a road rage shooting between vehicles. Officials say the child suffered non-life-threatening injuries near 43rd Avenue and Encanto Boulevard just after 4:30 p.m. It reportedly occurred when people in two cars "exchanged gunfire."
