Gustavo Reis (http://ww.gustavoreis.com.br/en) had the opportunity and the privilege to start practicing the craft of teaching at age 16 and remains exercising it today in the Math school he founded in his hometown (http://www.espartato.com.br). However, born and raised in Brazil and being considered a model student since very early, he didn't take long to notice that choosing a professional path directly related to Education would involve constantly facing questionings of all kinds. In this talk, delivered a few days before his 38th birthday, Gustavo exposes a few of these questionings and brings a special invitation for reflection: after all, what it is to innovate in Education?

Gustavo Reis (http://www.gustavoreis.com.br) teve a oportunidade e o privilégio de começar a exercer o ofício de professor aos 16 anos e permanece atuando até hoje na escola de Matemática que fundou em sua terra natal (http://ww.espartato.com.br). Porém, nascido e criado no Brasil e considerado desde muito cedo um aluno exemplar, ele não demorou a perceber que escolher uma trajetória profissional diretamente relacionada à educação envolveria o enfrentamento constante de toda sorte de questionamentos. Nessa palestra, dada quando estava prestes a completar 38 anos, Gustavo expõe algumas dessas dúvidas e traz um convite especial à reflexão: afinal, o que é inovar na educação?
