Linguistics III: This is the third video in a series which amounts to a course in linguistics. We investigate a definition of what constitutes a language: it is the structured inventory of conventional linguistic units which a group of people use to talk among themselves. In this video we discuss the technical terms “unit”, “linguistic”, and “conventional.”
