According to the latest update from the India Meteorological Department, India is set to witness multiple weather changes in the coming days. Heatwave conditions are likely to continue across several states including Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Vidarbha. At the same time, hot and humid conditions are expected in coastal regions such as Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Odisha, and Gujarat.
Delhi NCR may see some relief from extreme heat with a slight dip in temperatures, but thunderstorms, gusty winds, and light rain are likely over the next few days. Northeast India is expected to receive widespread rainfall with chances of heavy to very heavy showers, thunderstorms, and strong winds. Eastern and central India may also witness rain, lightning, and hail in isolated areas.
