Karl Rove & David Axelrod Discuss Leadership in an Age of Political Conflict
Acclaimed journalist Ann Compton will interview political strategists Karl Rove and David Axelrod. They will discuss leadership, public discourse, political parties and campaigns in a changing world.
This event is the 5th and final Inouye Lecture, made possible by a generous gift from the Daniel K. Inouye Institute.
Hosted by the Library of Congress John W. Kluge Center, in conjunction with the Daniel K. Inouye Institute, this series celebrated the legacy and principles of the late Honorable Daniel K. Inouye, who served as Hawaii’s first U.S. representative and then as U.S. senator for nearly half a century. Highlighting the importance Inouye placed on bipartisanship and moral courage, each lecture brought together voices from diverse backgrounds.
