Day of the Dead 2020, San Miguel de Allende

Every year we embellish the streets with the colors of papel picado and cempasuchil flowers. We build our altars and fill the city with joy through parades and costumes.

This year, due to the pandemic, the traditional catrina parade has been canceled. Today for the first time in 19 years we #stayhome remembering our dead. This year we put public celebrations on hold, but we share a video to commemorate this important date in San Miguel de Allende and in Mexico.
