Why use the HK LEM trigger variant over double action only, or double action / single action options? It all depends on what you are trying to accomplish with your pistol.

All I can tell you is what I've learned and gained from my experience and hopefully point others in a direction they may want to go as well. If I'm going to run an HK pistol in competition, it is going to be a hammer gun. If I'm going to run a hammer gun, it is going to have an LEM trigger.
