A not-so-surprising Charles Schwab Cup champion

While some say he came out of nowhere, the credentials Kevin Sutherland has makes him a worthy recipient of the Charles Schwab Cup champion. Since his victory in 2002 on the PGA TOUR, Sutherland had started in 341 official TOUR events before claiming victory in the final tournament of 2017.
