Why Ford frames are rotting out so fast and often now

it's not like it was a heavy rain and the frame was getting soaked in this area I was repairing just sitting outside parked. I've seen a lot rotting under the beds as well and I'm guessing water works it's way down the bed bolts into the frame maybe? Anyways, between the bed and cab is where the frame starts it's downward angle towards the front and most likely has a slight angle continuing all the way to the catalytic converter area where it also rots pretty badly and I noticed they tried to reinforce that area so they obviously know there might be an issue if they went and did that. I see beautiful Fords on marketplace for dirt cheap and you get reading the description and the frame is rotted out. This one was so bad where I was repairing that the lift had crushed it up and bowed it out as soon as I started lifting it. I have probably 48 hours of work into the repairs. Finished this side today and the other side as well which was definitely NOT yet as bad but still bad.
