There are plenty of habits both good and bad, but there is one habit in particular that has been responsible for transforming my life. It is a habit that can literally motivate you to do anything. It's the one habit that leads to the development of every good habit that you desire (like exercise and reading for example).

The habit of writing clear and measurable goals and reviewing them every morning can change your life. And it is no magic pill. Out of all books I've read and listened to over the years, it is perhaps the single most important and applicable skill I've learned. Pen and paper is all you need to motivate yourself to accomplish any goal.

Most people have goals, but very few people will go as far to write them down in a notebook. Even fewer people will review them every single morning. Instead, most people start their day with social media, email, or checking the messages on their phone and then wonder why they feel lazy and tired, have zero motivation, and can't focus on their most important tasks.

Whether you want to go to the gym more, lose weight, read more books, study harder, learn how to focus, or stop being lazy and tired, we will look into how and why the habit of writing down clear and measurable goals can motivate you to make all of the above happen.
