Government reshuffle in Russia: Belousov arrives at Defense, replacing Shoigu • FRANCE 24 English

The Russian president, Vladimir Putin, proposed Andrei Belousov as the new Minister of Defense. Belousov previously served as first deputy prime minister. This was reported by the Russian news agency "Tass". The current Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, he will instead replace Nikolai Patrushev as secretary of the Russian Security Council. Shoigu had headed the Russian military department since 2012.
