In Apex Season 6 you'll often have to play smarter, not harder, if you want the W. Which is exactly what the devs intended!
In the patch notes for Season 6 Boosted they said "Our goal for this is to bring down the TTK (time to kill) a bit in order to better reward strategic positioning." ...And it's working!
Since players can now get absolutely skewered and deep fried in a matter of seconds you can see a lot of Pros playing smarter and safer.
While this may not be more "fun" for a lot of Run N Gun style players it is a step in the right direction for the professional/competitive scene. Now for that damn audio... 😤
