In this video, I'm showing you how to finish a concrete floor using a 30" and a 36" concrete power trowel.

Power troweling concrete is something you do to give your concrete floor a nice smooth finished surface.

If you can power trowel your floor like we do in the video, then you can achieve a concrete floor finish that looks almost like it was polished.

We power trowel almost all our concrete floors to a very smooth finish. Power troweling is started as soon as you can walk on the concrete and only "sink" in an 1/8" or less.

The sun, air temperature, wind, and how dry or loose you pour the concrete will determine when you start power troweling.

Using a walk behind power trowel takes a little practice. You very lightly push down on the handles to move the trowel to the right, and lightly lift the handles to go left.

We use a combination of "float" blades and "finish" blades to trowel the concrete smooth as you can see in the video.
