Fishing BIG Weedless Swimbaits for KELP BASS -- Mexico Ep 3 | Field Trips with Robert Field

In this episode we're mothershipping the kayaks to a new area called Chester's Rock, where Jeff explains how we'll be working giant, weedless swimbaits for a voracious predator among the kelp forests: calico bass, or kelp bass.

These fish launch ambush attacks from the kelp stalks, resulting in explosive surface strikes that have us giggling like schoolgirls.
