Herculaneum Skeletons.(Destroyed with Pompeii in 79 AD.)

Herculaneum, archeological site Italy not far from Pompeii. Both were engulfed when Vesuvius erupted in the year 79. This is an ongoing archaeological site. Well worth a visit if you are planning to tour Italy. Pompeii is more popular, but Herculaneum is by far the better preserved. The Bee Gees get a little help with their song 'Children of the World' from the local skeletons. Maurice, Robin and Barry would be proud !
