Hollow Tree - Sunrise Ferreting 2

Ferreting under a big old tree. Ferrets hunting rabbits.

To net the large opening in the tree I used a 5ft purse net. It's not always this easy to place your peg by an opening like this. An extra bit of cordage can be used to extend the nets pull cord, which can then be tied around a branch, loose bit of bark or the trunk itself. It's almost always ideal to have your pull cord and peg above the hole, but in some situations you may have to settle with whats available.,

These rabbits are collected for food, for my ferrets and people. This is a free range meat, that has lived a free life. These rabbits will be controlled even without me. By taking them myself, the meat is used. Ferreting is an environmentally friendly method of harvesting free range meat.
