"I Hadn't Anyone Till You" written by Ray Noble in 1938 was recorded by Ella Fitzgerald for her 1960 Verve LP, Ella Fitzgerald Sings Songs from "Let No Man Write My Epitaph." Paul Smith provided the piano accompaniment. The album was released on CD by Polygram Records in 1990, retitled The Intimate Ella, and is considered one of Ella's greatest recordings.
