Father and Son building a road, cooking in the earthen oven at the off grid log cabin

The road is almost completed at the off grid log cabin. My son is joining me for the summer to help build and create the homestead. The Earthen oven is a complete success after cooking in it all week, I'm extremely happy with the outcome.

Pretty busy week coming up at the cabin. The other half of the outdoor kitchen will be underway nad possibly completed. I've decided to make the floor out of stone. Lots of work but i think it will be worth the effort.

Couple other things: all the hard wood will need to be bucked and split and iv decided that the sauna is going to be the next cabin build!
