Learn Italian | Basic Greetings and Words in Italian
Hi and Welcome!
This video is different from my usual videos, but since you know I have a love of Italian food, travel, and culture, and I assume you do as well, I figured now is a great time to start teaching you Italian! I always want to learn basic greetings and words when visiting another country, especially when I'm not familiar with the language, and so I kept this as brief as possible. I wanted to teach you a few greetings, like hi and bye, as well as simple words such as please and thank you. This is great to learn when visiting Italy for the first time. If you enjoy this video and would like for me to teach you even further please leave a "thumbs up" and let me know in the comments down below :)
In this video I teach you how to say:
Hello/Hi: Ciao
Bye: Ciao
Good Morning: Buongiorno (can also be spelled Buon Giorno)
Good Night: Buonanotte (Buona Notte)
Good Evening: Buonasera (Buona Sera)
Good Afternoon: Buon Pomeriggio
Thank You: Grazie
You're Welcome: Prego
Please: Per Favore
No: No
Yes: Si
Maybe: Forse
Who: Chi
What: Che/Cosa
Where: Dove
When: Quando
Why: Perché
*Bonus: I say Arrivederci in the end, which is how to formally say bye! :)
Thanks so much for watching, I really hope this video can help with the few basic greetings, and words. I think the most important thing here is to become familiar with the words and pronunciation, so hopefully you have learned something new here.
