Using the Drizzle Stitch, Bullion Tendrils & The Italian Knotted Border Stitch for Circle #30

#InstaStitchWithSue - Using the drizzle stitch and Sue Spargo's circle #30 as a jumping off point to explore the possibilities the drizzle stitch and Bullion Stitch can inspire, this circle that I designed is made up of the italian knotted border stitch, colonial knots, drizzle stitch and my very own Bullion Tendrils! These #InstaStitchWithSue videos are much faster than the in-depth videos I have done on every one of the stitches used in this video. If you want to watch a slower, more in-depth demonstration of the stitches, please click on each of the videos that I've linked within this video. All the links are found in the upper right hand corner of the screen. Join me and stitch along!
**As Sue will be removing all of her circles and videos because she will be making her Toned-Down Circle Sampler project into a book once the 90 days are over, I decided to design my own circles so that I wouldn't need to take all of my videos down too. It seemed like the easiest solution, particularly as it's a fun challenge to come up with designs for so many 1" circles!

After graduating from Parsons School of Design, I began my career in fashion design and freelanced both in New York City, as well as London. I designed hand knits for Elle Magazine and was the editor of the Hand Knit Page before hand knits fell out of fashion in the early 1990's and the page was discontinued. In 2008 I launched my jewelry design business, designing fine jewelry in 18 & 20 Kt Gold with gemstones that I selected for each piece. In 2015 I found Sue Spargo through her Craftsy class, and my life took another turn. I have been designing in some form since I sold my first felt embroidered xmas tree ornaments to a small shop in Northern California when I was 15 years old, and have never looked back. And while I've had detours along the way: had two children, worked at an advertising agency, got into acting in my early 20's, published some articles for various magazines and wrote for the Huffington Post for a few years, I have always come back to designing. It is my first love and remains so to this day.

I have created an #InstaStitchWithSue Playlist, which houses ALL the videos I've made covering the circles Sue has unveiled so far!
