So after soft modding my phat PS2 with FMCB and loading a bunch of games onto an internal 120GB 3.5" IDE it wasn't long before I realized that I would quickly run out of space. So searching eBay led me to listings for adapters that would allow my PS2 to use newer/faster/cheaper sata drives over the antiquated IDE the original hdd adapter uses. I opted for a module that would replace some parts in the original adapter so I could retain networking capability as well as look stock externally. In this video I show you guys how to install such an adapter and use a 2.5" sata drive for cooler and quieter operation.
