It's Chick Day On The Homestead and Lucy Gets Nursed Back To Health By OGK.

Today was a very special day on the homestead. Ethan got his chicks and had an opportunity to nurse his prize hen, Lucy, back to health. We think she was egg bound and after a quick check (yuck) and a nice relaxing bath, she laid an egg. She seems to be doing much better now. The chicks are so cute and we are looking forward to seeing them grow.
