Sitting down to watch the latest round of Netflix’s Black Mirror, I was shocked when the first episode of the season provided a surprisingly similar and thoughtful discussion of my childhood experience. “Striking Vipers” showcases one of the most compelling portrayals of the interaction between gaming, gender, and sexuality ever put to screen, as well as how gaming has started to shape how we explore our identities.
