How To Make Nylon Khaman | Famous Gujarati Recipe by Chetna Patel

A quick and easy version of the traditional khaman. Khaman is a very popular Gujarati delicacy. Khaman is healthy because it is steamed gluten-free recipe. This Khaman is also known as Nylon Khaman. Khaman is a great snack as it provides protein, fiber, and much other nutrition. The best thing is that there is no compromise for the ingredients as the traditional recipe is made from whole Chana Dal and the instant recipe is made from Chana Dal Flour or Besan.
Ingredients:
- 250 Grams Chickpea Flour / Besain
- 400ml Water
- 2.5tbsp Sugar
- 1.5tsp Citric Acid
- 1tbsp Salt
- 1tbsp Oil
- 1tbsp Ginger & Green Chilli Paste
- 1/2tsp Baking Soda &
- 3/4 tsp - Eno
For Flavouring:
- 3tbsp Oil
- 1tbsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 12-15 Pieces Curry Leaves
- Sliced Green Chilli
- 1/4tsp Asafoetida / Hing
- 1 cup Water
- 6tbsp Sugar
