Markov Chains & Transition Matrices

Using a transition matrix let's us do computation of Markov Chains far more efficiently because determining a future state from some initial state is nothing more than multiplying by a transition matrix. I show you how to go from a Transition Diagram to a Transition Matrix, the terminology used, and do an example to show you how to compute the probabilities. The use of the transition matrix makes it far easier to compute future states arbitrarily far into the future.
