With A LOT of trial and error, I feel like I have finally perfected my wash n go routine !

Here are some things that I have noticed that gives me bomb wash n gos (almost) every wash day!

🫧T I P S🫧

⁃ Do your Wash n Gos while in the shower

Even though it takes FOREVER, doing my entire wash day routine in the shower has completely changed the way my wash n go’s come out!

My high porosity hair dries out VERY quickly so doing it in the shower helps keep it hydrated while i’m doing each section.

⁃ SMALL SECTIONS FOR THE WIN!

Defining my hair in smaller sections surprisingly gives me the most definition AND volume….again it takes forever but a win is a win😂

⁃ QUALITY Products

Ok now hear me out!!!! If you want a wash n go that’ll last you 4+ days, investing in a good foaming mousse (or curl cream) and botanical gel is the way to gooo

I found that once I switched my product combo to my current one I always get HYDRATED juicy curls! I haven’t turned back to my old combo since

HOWEVER you can still get good results with less expensive products! It’ll be your product application that will make or break it!
⁃ Keeping your hair wet while defining

I’m going to make a full YouTube video of my updated Wash N Go Routine so this makes more sense.

As i’m applying the products to my hair I like to wet my hair at least once while i’m defining! This just makes sure my hair is actually absorbing the product and the water…giving me hydrated, moisturized curls
