You won't believe what came out of this hen "How to drain Waterbelly" ascites

This is the second time in as many months we have drained fluid off this hen. This is NOT a cure, it simply removes the fluid in the abdomen that puts pressure on already strained internal organs. Chances are, this hen has a bad heart, or perhaps a liver malfunction I am treating her with Tumeric, for inflammation and swelling, and as an antibiotic substitute. I will be putting her on Dyne as a nutritional supplement... outside of that .. I will simply drain the fluid as needed . to keep her comfortable... and yes ... for those NAYSAYERS .. if I see she ever is in pain .. I will change my direction .. and "help her cross over" but until that day. she will enjoy a pampered life in a special coop and protected run, with young chicks, broody hens, and other birds with special needs.
