TikTok, a product of the Chinese company ByteDance, is mainly targeted at overseas users. In China, it has another version, called "Douyin."
Interestingly, instead of raising Chinese netizens' anger against the U.S., China’s response provoked a chorus of mocking laughter at the Chinese Communist Party CCP. On the Chinese social media platform Weibo, a large number of netizens followed the post, and more than 2,000 comments were deleted, with only a handful visible.
The netizens wrote:
"Too funny. It's killing me."
" Funny, a place that can't even use Google, that's pretty confident.”
" as if we can use it?"
