No more slamming tailgate ! , Toyota Tacoma tailgate assist DIY install

Here I install a tailgate assist on my Tacoma.
One of the things I like about a 3rd gen Tacoma, is how nice and smooth the tailgate opens, I did some research and found a kit for the second gen Tacoma.
I installed it and I am very happy that my tailgate is not longer slamming everytime I open it up.

In the video I talked about the cable getting pinch and what I do when closing the tailgate.
