Combating the Labor Shortage Through Trades Education
Simpson Strong-Tie created the Construction Trades Support program in partnership with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley. The program promotes the trades as a viable career path for young and underemployed individuals to help alleviate the current labor shortage. The program is meant to serve as a model for other Habitat affiliates who would like to get more individuals interested in the trades.
