Israel has ‘no choice' but to 'chase down' Hamas: Former foreign minister
Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says Israel has no choice but to "chase down" Hamas, wherever they may be.
“Hamas deliberately have been using schools and hospitals, childcare centres and so on for cover for their operations and this has been well known for quite some years," he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“So the Israelis are doing the right thing to go into the hospital to show us the evidence, which they have duly done.
“The people who are to blame for all of this are Hamas, they don’t care about human life.
"They care about their ideological objective of expelling all Jews from what is now Israel.”
