The animal kingdom is very impressive. It’s wild and full of surprises, and it’s clear proof that in
the end, only the strongest survives. But sometimes, the strongest animal is not necessarily the
one at the top of the food chain. And you might think that herbivores and small animals are quite
defenseless if they ever find themselves face to face with a predator. But in the end, nature is
full of surprises, so we should always be ready for something unexpected to happen. In today’s
video, we’ll be looking at “15 Times in which Predators Messed With The Wrong Prey.” We’ll see
some fights in which the winner was the animal that no one thought could win. Just wait till you
see the animal at the top of the list, it was quite outnumbered, and still, it came out of a
threatening situation like a champion.
Squirrel and Snake

It doesn’t matter how small they are, snakes are usually a threat to any animal around them.
Especially if they’re venomous. And when it comes to snakes and squirrels, squirrels usually get
bitten and killed by snakes, so their best choice is to run away and avoid contact. However, that
is not the case with the squirrel in this video. The small mammal was approached by a snake,
but instead of running away, the squirrel bit and ended up killing the snake. What a brave little
rodent!
Lion and Honey Badger

You might not be shocked by this, because if you know honey badgers, then you know how wild
and aggressive they can be. Even when there’s a lion around, ready to eat them. That is exactly
what happens in this video, where we see a huge lion preying on a small honey badger. But as
soon as the lion gets close, the honey badger responds with a challenging attitude. The honey
badger steps back a bit but keeps its eyes on the lion as if daring the lion to fight. In the end, the
honey badger steps out of the battle without a scratch, and the lion leaves hungry.
Cat and Monkey

We all know cats and dogs are usually seen as mortal enemies. And if they ever get in a fight,
for some reason, we tend to think that dogs are the ones with an advantage. And I guess the
same would go for monkeys and cats, right? I can’t picture these two getting along. Especially if
the monkeys are bigger than the cats. But that is not the case in the next video. We see a cat,
peacefully minding its own business when out of nowhere, a monkey comes over. But the small
cat is not interested in making new friends. He just wants the monkey to go away. A hissing
sound and a quick swipe of the claws are more than enough to show that the cat is not
interested in the monkey’s company. So the monkey, naturally, just goes away.
Lions and Giraffe

This video is quite sad because the lions actually did take a baby giraffe’s life. And what can we
do about that? That’s nature after all. Predators hunt and eat their prey. But you might be
relieved to know that the adult giraffe didn’t come out of this without a fight. The huge giraffe
might look fragile, but it ended up killing one of the lions.
