Today I am presenting with you a goat meat recipe that belongs to village cooking. It is Hyderabadi Handi Gosht which is also known as Kunna Gosht or Mutton Kunna in Pakistan. The preparation of this dish is a traditional Hyderabadi style mutton curry. When it is cooked in a clay pot which is known as Handi in the villages, it gives a uniquely delicious taste. Ingredients:
500 grams of goat/lamb meat, fried onions(3 big-sized), 200 grams of yogurt, 2 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste, 4-5 green chilies, a bunch of coriander leaves, 2 bay leaves, 4 pieces of cloves, 2 pieces of green cardamoms, 10-12 peppercorns, a half teaspoon of cumin seeds, 1 black cardamom, 2 pieces of cinnamon, a half teaspoon of coriander seeds, 5-6 whole red chilies, 1 teaspoon of cumin powder, a half teaspoon of turmeric, a tablespoon of Kashmiri chili powder, 1 teaspoon of coriander powder, a half teaspoon of Garam Masala, salt as per taste, 8-10 almonds, a tablespoon of poppy seeds.
