Found a bad Ni-Fe cell in my battery bank and here is what they look like internally

Unfortunately for me I found a bad cell in my bank. It was shorted due to bulging plates. I believe I can confirm that the quality of the cells from some Chinese Ni-Fe battery manufacturers leaves much to be desired. The original Edison cells are of much better quality.
