Nina Totenberg on Breaking the Anita Hill Allegations
NPR’s Nina Totenberg has reported on the Supreme Court for more than 40 years. In this extended interview with FRONTLINE, she talks about how she broke the story of Anita Hill’s allegations of sexual harassment by then-Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas, how the Robert Bork saga changed the nomination process, the increased influence of the Federalist Society on the American judiciary, and how the politicization of the court has impacted its perceived legitimacy to the public.
